Today I've just been recognised (although by a less than ordinary shop; but nonetheless) as a maturing teenager.
But before I relate to you the story, let me present you with what I did today.
I slept till 11am, packed my stuff, fixed my computer Graphics Card up, and then got ready to go to Macs @ Bishan for a meeting with Norman. Turned out Samantha was sick, so she couldn't make it. So the two of us had a really unexpectedly fruitful discussion (owing to good planning by Matthias, Samantha and myself; HEH), and we came up with a few dates for rehearsals etc.
Went home rather early, about 3.15 we left Macs and headed home. Reached home at 4pm, which was the more than often late, due to the bus uncles/aunties (don't know what they are doing in the terminal, but hope it's fruitful) taking a long time to get to 139, and it's always the case. Two 145s leave, and then a 139 leaves. The worse was a few days ago, I was waiting for a 139, but there wasn't any present at the depot (which meant we still had to wait for 139 buses to return before being able to wait yet again for the bus uncles/aunties to get to their seats.
Anyway, before I went to the queue, I went (once again) to the bubble tea shop. There was a part of me hoping for something. (heh) But anyway when I was walking to the bubble tea shop (Nb: STORY STARTS HERE), I passed by this jewellery store.
Now usually I don't take too much fancy to jewellery, and I don't look like that kind of guy who would have a girlfriend and buy jewellery for his girlfriend. More importantly, I don't look like a sto0pid adult. Hence, usually when there are these publicity people distributing flyers outside their jewellery "gallery" (can't find a more suitable word), they won't give me these flyers when I pass by.
TODAY WAS AN EXCEPTION. I was finally offered a flyer!
This obviously means that I have become more "adult-ish" (if you may pardon the use of this word), and I'm recognised by an adult by the society!
Hooray for adults. =\
Nb: Sorry, I have no pictures to offer today.
