Results!

Once again, there comes certain periods in life when you have to wait. When the wait gets really tough and you get all prickly and heated up, you know you are getting really impatient. Check your palms, are they sweaty? Do you feel your heart beating faster than it really should? Or did you even feel it skip a beat?

The word results never fail to come into our daily vocabulary list; be it for tests, interviews and whatnots. For myself, I would have to face plenty of results in the upcoming week. Some of which may be heartbreaking and mind-wrenching, but what is the whole exhausting regime for? Ultimately I do gain something that others will not without this example; perseverance and tolerance.

They ask for something; they ask for patience and patience comes as a virtue. They ask also for satisfaction and discipline. So what if I went in there, performed like an idiot, and made a really lame impression of myself? I still passed the interview. So what if I did not make an impressive speech and tell the whole world that "Lookie here! VOTE FOR MARK! GET ALEONG with SC?" (Note: Marcus, it was a great idea! :D)

I still managed to weave through those intolerant classes who never failed to amuse me with their homework-in-the-morning antics.

I still managed to put out a lasting impression upon some who favoured the orange and that little gadget which starts with an "i" (which I coincidentally am planning to purchase this coming weekend).

I will always remember this process of "examination".

But 2007 has always been about results ever since it started; and ever since it did, it never seemed to stop.
  • GCE 'O' Level Results
  • Results of Rock Climbing Trials
  • Results of SC Interviews
  • Results of H3 NAV application
  • Results of SC Elections (Yet to be revealed; but be ready for the "reveal-ation".)
  • Results of Pre-U Seminar Interviews
  • Results of JAE Application
Never ever seemed to stop. Once you've nailed them, they come right back at you. Like a tennis ball, the harder you hit it, the harder it comes right back at you.

Who really bothers anyway? It's only your own personal lives that you care about; not mine.

I so feel like KT-Tunstalling today.

Her face is a map of the world
Is a map of the world
You can see she’s a beautiful girl
She’s a beautiful girl
And everything around her is a silver pool of light
People who surround her feel the benefit of it
It makes you calm
She’ll hold you captivated in her palm
