I know you mean well, I know you mean best for me when you don't say a word. Because you know that if you break out in joy, you will unconsciously hurt those around you. You care for me. You know that if you rejoice in laughter, you'll break the hearts of those who rejoiced for you. So you kept still, quiet and made no attempt to reveal the expressions in your heart.
You buried your feelings underneath so that I might be kept safe.
And I genuinely thank you for that.
The 'O' Level results are out already; I must say I'm not overly overjoyed, or depressingly saddened. Perhaps I'm caught in the middle.
It wasn't too little, wasn't too much. Just the right amount. I'm already happy to be able to stay in VJC.
Thank you Lord!
Thank you Lord, I just want to thank You Lord...
- Paul Baloche
As we move on towards our next point in lives, let us not separate in our hearts, and although physical separation may span between us, we'll be kept together by these little connections we have with each other!
The atmosphere was cold and suddenly chilly. The warm hands that grew to be wrinkled with sweat turned cold. It wasn't the weather, nor the fans which seemed to be perpetually at full blast. The results were now out.
Words of encouragement didn't seem to break the silence. People shifted in their seats, some shuffled their hands with increasing vigour; in hope of breaking the anxiety within their palpitating hearts.
The 'O' Level results 2006/7. It was a point in time to remember.
But no matter where we went from there; we never really left.
