Push the door, I'm home at last and I'm soaking through and through
Then you handed me a towel and all I see is you
And even if my house falls down now, I wouldn't have a clue
Because you're near me and
I want to thank you for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you is having the best day of my life
- Dido, Thank You
This is just a shout-out to all my closest and best-est friends out there who gave me ceaseless encouragement throughout my period of uncertainty and unfruitful decision-making.
What I've been experiencing has been a myriad of emotions, ranging from confusion to the occasional disbelief. Ever since school started, things have been a little rough on the edges, namely because CCAs were a huge headache. But I just want to give a big thanks to those who have helped me see myself through this and make a final decision.
Indeed it is you who have made me choose this path and make this choice, indeed you are the ones who have been behind me pushing me on.
I just want to thank the closest friends from Victoria School, (pardon the sudden emo-ness), Calvin, Jarren who have been a great encouragement (07S34 forever ya?) and spurred me to pursue this ideal of mine. Student's Council would have never been a clearer decision without you guys. Zonghe! He helped me to think of stuff to write for the essay as well!
The people at church who have advised me here and there! You have once again made me realise that we should do whatever God told us to do. I'll try this route, I'll trod this path and follow God's lead.
The seniors formerly from Victoria School! They have been a great help, and I'm really very very touched by the fact that they are so willing to put up with my stupid conversations, and lame jokes and all. (No more VERY lame jokes from me though, just mildly lame ones) They are the people who have also sounded me out about my final choice, and I must say that it was a great influence by them to decide on this choice.
I'm beginning to think that this is just a regurgitation of the "Thank you" part of my essay, but nevertheless I shan't leave this out because this has become a landmark in my life.
