To be or not to be? That is the question.

It has already been a long week since holidays started. Thursday has dawned upon us like the light reaches us in the dawning of the day. Holidays are already almost over. What holidays? Since when did we have a holiday?

But then again, yes we did. A meaningful one for me too.

I miss the council elects already. I miss our facilitators for elect's camp too. They are so nice to us!

But most of all, I believe there are more important things to draw from the camp that I just went through from 13th to 15th of March.

Elect's Camp 2007
13th to 15th of March
VJC Campus

Personally, the experience proved very raw and real to me, and I learnt two very important and striking lessons which brought the camp together:

  1. Set high expectations for yourself, don't focus on whether you can achieve it; but rather whether you are willing to try and achieve it. Don't count the steps you need to take to your destination, but rather be brave and take those steps forward to reach - as far as possible - your destination.
  2. Unity is strength! Encourage one another at your weak points, and together we can overcome! Continue to push each other on in your journey, and do not only focus on your own safety, well-being etc. Don't stay in your comfort zone while others are going all out to support one another.
It has been three days, only three days but the elects are sticking it together as one bunch. No matter what others may say, we are BESTIES FOR LIFE!

And yes, of course with great beginnings come endings, and of course great endings with no less emphasis.

Today's ending landed on a spirited high. I just want to say thank you FACIS! Throughout this camp, what really made me very touched emotionally were your commitment to EZALOR! Yes and BTI really helped us to realise lots of things, and we want to thank you also for every other thing you have given to us throughout this period of elect's camp!

Thankyou Shuxie, Beertini and Shuhua (yay new member of Ezalor eh? ;) )

Go Ezalor! Go Elects! Go 24ths!

Nb: I love the elects' shirt!
